Beth Reitz has been in this position since 1990. She oversees their fitness center with over 1,500 members, a national certified cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program, and an outpatient diabetes program. She chairs CRH employee wellness program, which has received national recognition from both the American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association. She is also responsible for their Wellness in the Workplace and healthmobile, which provides health screenings and wellness programs to local businesses and community groups.
Beth has an undergraduate degree from James Madison University and Master’s degree in Community Health from Old Dominion University. She is also a certified group fitness instructor through Aerobic and Fitness Association of American (AFAA), a member of the Bike and Trail Commission for the city of Chesapeake, planning committee for the Dismal Swamp half-marathon, and the American Heart Association’s Heart Chase planning committee.
