Ms. Marchant-Roof has been with Chesapeake Regional Healthcare for over 15 years in various roles, all of which focus on the care of patients in the community. Her experience is in program development specifically home health, hospice, and palliative care.
Ms. Marchant-Roof completed her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Norfolk State University in May 1993. She then obtained Virginia Licensure in Clinical Social Work in 1995. Ms. Marchant-Roof received her undergraduate degree from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York. She relocated from New York and has lived in Hampton Roads for the past 25 years. She is the mother of three children.
Board appointments include; Healthy Chesapeake, TEMS, and Meals on Wheels of Chesapeake. She has held the 2014 Chair of the Advance Care Planning Coalition of Southeastern Virginia. Ms. Marchant-Roof strives to bring a collaborative approach to program development.
